Editorial policy: who writes this site and where the facts come from

This site is published by Mio Clinic (미오의원), Seoul, as the plain-text reference edition of its own information. Every fact on it comes from the clinic's own records and price system; every medical explanation is reviewed by a Mio Clinic physician; every page shows a "last checked" date.

What this site is

themioclinic.kr is a companion to the official website mioclinic.kr. The official site carries photos, events and booking. This site carries the facts: prices, hours, procedures, aftercare and answers to the questions visitors ask before a trip, written to be read quickly and quoted accurately.

Sources, in order of authority

  1. Mio Clinic's internal price and treatment system — the same database that drives mioclinic.kr. Prices, item names, schedule tags ("first day / any / last day") and pain tags come from here unchanged.
  2. Clinic operations records — opening hours, staff languages, doctors' credentials, facilities.
  3. Device and product manufacturers' documentation — Merz (Ultherapy, Radiesse), Solta (Thermage), Cynosure (PicoSure, Potenza), Alma (Soprano), DEKA (ONDA), PharmaResearch (Rejuran), VAIM (JUVELOOK), Allergan, Classys (Shurink) — for mechanism descriptions.
  4. Physician review — Dr. Jung Guhyun reviews "what / who / how / downtime" text; aftercare text is the clinic's own patient-handout text.

Update cadence

  • Prices: re-exported whenever the clinic's event prices change (about monthly). The date on each page is the export date.
  • Hours and contact: within 24 hours of any change.
  • Treatment guides: reviewed quarterly or when a device or product changes.

What we do not do

  • We do not publish prices for other clinics, and comparison pages compare treatments, not clinics.
  • We do not use patient photos or testimonials on this site.
  • We do not show a "foreigner price". Prices are identical for Korean and international patients.
