- After peeling, the skin is more receptive to skincare ingredients. Apply moisturizer and skin-repair cream more generously than usual.
- Avoid irritating products, such as scrubs, peeling gels, and toners with a high alcohol content, for 1 week after treatment.
- Apply sunscreen thoroughly when going outdoors to protect the freshly exfoliated skin and help prevent hyperpigmentation.
- You may wash your face on the day of treatment. Cleanse gently with lukewarm rather than hot water to help soothe the skin.
